THE JOURNEY IS UNFOLDING
I’m excited to introduce to you all a project I’ve been working hard on. It’s a source of my own inspiration captured in several relatable characters I hope you come to love as much as I do.
Be prepared for the new dynamic duo, introducing TruuJay and his best pal, Rodger. They have a lot to learn about each other and the strengths they have to find within.
Our main protagonist has multiple lifetimes of knowledge passed down among the Jays, Young Prince TruuJay is next in line of becoming King of Highlands. But it’s a big world for a small bird, and without the simple ability for a bird to fly something was not catching the wind TruuJay.
This insecurity alone makes TruuJay step out and try harder among the rest of his friends and his flock to own up to the title of King his father held so well above his own interest.
A logical thinker thanks to his education, but no textbook can give you an emotional perspective on life we’d otherwise relieve through experience.
A close friend to prince TruuJay, Rodger loves to explore and fulfill his fate and his devilish needs to experience, though a sensitive bird at heart, he wishes to leave a impact on Soul City that doesn’t entertain the expectations of his father, who is an emotional veteran as well as his Fight or Flight trainer.
He doesn’t understand how his best friend can effortlessly break down feelings logically as opposed to him. If pushed, Rodger can be a hot head, which means he can have the tendency to lose control of his emotions and turn bright magenta, indirectly playing into his father’s hands of being a passionate soldier he dreams his son to be.
Growing up next to her older brother Rodger created a tension between the two, full of rivalry. From a young age, Danielle was able to tap into a hidden power within that has been inherited genetically.
This potential can be activated with a passionate intent, like holding an imaginary target in her mind to dominate that’s shaped like her brother’s face!
Auggie grew up in a narcissistic environment from having two inseparable celebrity parents who duet on stage together. They were show birds at heart, but Auggie felt as if they have lacked confidence by not even being able to identify with either a male or female, and how is a bird going to introduce themselves to the world if they don’t have their act together.
In Auggie’s past it’s normal for peacocks taking time to mature into their colors, but when you’re only the color of muddy brown and feel that way, it can be hard for them to feel stellar like the glorious species they are. All they need is an external spark that believes in them to begin to shine their true colours.
A good friend to Danielle as they both find harmony in whistling together as well as being adjacent to Danielle’s chakra point being orange (Sacral) and his yellow (Solar).
The goldfinch is a music inclined bird and speaks through R.A.P. and whistling parables on the wind. A joyful bird in his core full of abundance and stubborn optimism.
A long line of finches builds Hoop’s being since all finches are connected to all his family, no two parental figures.
